Mr. Sungjin Ji is the principal attorney for the JI LAW FIRM, APC. Sungjin received his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 2009 on a merit-based full scholarship. He received Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Korea University in 1999, and his Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002. Sungjin is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted within the U.S. District Court, Central District of California and Southern District of California. Moreover, he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Candidate with the California Board of Accountancy having passed the CPA exam.
Since beginning his law practice, Sungjin specialized in immigration, estate planning, business and real estate, bankruptcy, and litigation. Due to Sungjin’s expertise, Sungjin has wrote many law columns for the Korea Daily where Sungjin is a registered Estate Planning specialist for their newspaper. In addition, Sungjin regularly provides immigration and estate planning seminars in Los Angeles and Orange County, California. Lastly, Sungjin was the Director for the Korean American Association of Orange County, and is a Director of the International Foundation for Korea University (IFKU).

Mr. Frank Satalino assists the JI LAW FIRM, APC, with litigation matters. Frank received his J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of Law in 1989, where he had clerked on the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly Law Journal. Frank also obtained his bachelor’s from State University of New York in 1986. Frank is a member of the State Bar of California and Nevada. Furthermore, Frank is admitted in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
Since obtaining his California Bar membership in 1989, Frank has acted as a senior litigator handling all aspects of civil litigation. Frank’s focus has been primarily business, real estate, contract, construction, insurance law, labor, and labor, where Frank has handled numerous civil jury and bench trials to judgment. Frank has assisted the JI LAW FIRM, APC, with legal strategy, law and motion, depositions, Court hearings, and Trial.

Mr. Amit Prakash provides the JI LAW FIRM, APC, with litigation assistance. Amit received his J.D. from Western State University College of Law in 2010 and obtained his B.S. in Finance from California State University, Northridge in 2007. Amit is a member of the California Bar and is also admitted within the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
Prior to passing the bar in 2010, Amit worked as a Civil Engineer Assistant where he assisted real estate developers with condominium conversions, subdivision, and plot plans. After passing the bar, Amit has worked mainly as a civil litigation attorney where he has assisted law firms with litigation in both State and Federal Court. Amit has assisted the JI LAW FIRM, APC., since 2013 where has provided the office with law and motion assistance, complex legal research memorandums, and Court appearances.
